Maple Springs Farm is a small working farm situated in the dairy country of north-central Pennsylvania. Nestled amongst the Armenia mountain range, the water and air are fresh and pure, offering an ideal area to produce our quality products. These products include maple syrup, handmade soap, custom embroidery, limited edition art prints, emu oil, shoo-fly pies and I'm probably forgetting something.
Our main crop on our farm is the Christmas Tree. We grow a variety of Christmas trees, but our favorite is the Douglas Fir. No wait, it's the Blue Spruce. As you can tell, we like them all!
We also have a pretty big blueberry patch. Also, we have an orchard full of fruit trees. Please see our Maple Springs Country Farm Cookbook for a list of recipes for farm fresh fruit.
The main theme of our farm is "fresh."
Our mission is to provide the highest quality products at a fair price.
Our family's heritage is born out of German and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry. From generation to generation we have been taught that all our dealings must be honest and fair.
There is no compromise, and this is our commitment to you...
One main staple of this heritage is the potato. Many are grown on our farm and are used in some of our recipes. This is Bubba inspecting the conditions of the soil. He is also our chief agricultural advisor when it comes to all of our crops. While the northern climate is good for the sugar bush, it also is great for Christmas trees, blueberry bushes, and certain fruit trees, which can be found on our farm as well.
This is Ethan. He is the youngest member of our staff. He doesn't know how to drive the Farmall yet, but he can't wait to learn.
